Using match history to climb

2026-08-17

One analyzed match tells you what happened. Three or four analyzed matches start to show you who you are as a player. Save your searches, compare similar champions, and look for the pattern.

Build a small sample

Pick your main role and champion, then analyze five losses in a row. Do not look at wins yet; losses have the signal. inflect.gg saves each search to your history so you can revisit them without retyping your Riot ID.

Compare similar games

Use the Compare page to put two games side-by-side. Look for the same death timing, the same objective posture mistake, or the same overextension. If the same mistake shows up twice, it is not bad luck; it is a habit.

Track one metric

Choose one number to improve: CS at 10 minutes, vision score before first dragon, or death count before 15 minutes. The dashboard trends page turns your saved matches into sparklines so you can see whether the change is working.

Queue with a rule

Once you know your pattern, make one rule and queue with it. A single rule beats a long mental checklist because you can actually remember it in game. inflect.gg shows your inflection points so you know exactly when the rule mattered.
